We wanted to do an indoor/outdoor location for Stephanie and Dan’s engagement photoshoot uptown since the weather was a bit cold. We chose the Ritz Carlton and then walked around uptown from there. It turned out to be a beautiful day!

He proposed at The Columbia Room, a cocktail bar in Washington, DC. He worked closely with the bartender to come up with a unique cocktail menu. Each custom cocktail represented a chapter of our relationship. He proposed after the first drink and had the restaurant play our favorite song!
Question for the GROOM: What things do you love the most about her?
Steph is the more fun-loving of the two of us, able to make light of any situation. She has fun and enjoys whatever we do, as long as it’s together. She is driven and hardworking. Maybe not punctual, but always makes it happen.
Question for the BRIDE: What things do you love the most about him?
Dan is smart, kind, thoughtful, and analytical. I love all these qualities about him. He is also a great cook and baker! Dan does all of the cooking in our relationship and I do all of the cleaning. It’s the perfect division of labor for us!
