“Well, that is an interesting story. We decided to go on vacation to the beach in Gulf Shores, Alabama. When we arrived, I knew that I was ready to propose right then and there to Melissa. I had the ring for a couple of weeks prior to the trip, and it was difficult to not ask her before the trip. We took a walk on the beach with some wine at sunset. I was so excited that I flubbed what I wanted to say, forgetting much of what I wanted to tell her but she still said yes. Later that night, neither of us could sleep from excitement, so we decided to take a midnight stroll on the beach. I got back down on one knee and said exactly what I wanted to say, the right way :). We both love laughing about this now, and with the moonlit sky and only us, it seemed the perfect way for this to happen.” ~David
