Awhile back I shared my cover of Carolina Bride but did not include my fave pics! So here you go…
Someone PINCH me!!!! I feel like this is so surreal! I am excited to share my cover of Carolina Bride!
I photographed the cover along with the Color Crush feature. Although this is my seventh cover of Carolina Bride I still feel I just won an Oscar Award. You see, CB is not just the Holy Grail for brides to be featured, it is an honor for us photographers to have our work published in such a prestigious magazine.
I am very thankful to so many people but I am especially thankful to my amazing husband Thomas Geist. He does so many things to make our company successful and he worked hard behind the scenes for this shoot. I am thankful for Caroline Portillo for trusting me to execute her vision and for all the fun we had doing it! I am thankful for Cali Stott who has some mad skills when it comes to hair and make up styling. I am thankful for Whitley Hamlin and her beautiful eye for wardrobe styling and flowers by Lingky for her gorgeous florals. And what else can I say about our beautiful cover model Rashontae Wawrzyniak – she is stunning!
Another little tidbit I am excited to share: and mostly my photographer friends will understand this excitement: I photographed this photo shoot with my Sony A7R II mirrorless camera. It is a different technology then a DSLR and produces stunning results.
