Lauren and Charlie’s wedding at Christ Episcopal Church and reception at Myers Park Country Club was so incredibly special. Lauren’s mom owns Edible Art of Charlotte and made the most beautiful cake for Lauren and Charlie.
The decor for their event was whimsical, neutral flowers with a lot of greenery/eucalyptus, copper accents (lanterns, candles) The color scheme Deep blue/green, cream, light green, pops of light pink, metallic elements.
Charlie and Lauren met a friend’s “I Do BBQ” engagement party and ended up being in the wedding party together. The rest is history!
Question for the GROOM: What things do you love the most about her? I love how I have always felt like myself around Lauren. Even during our first date after a few awkward moments, it felt like I had known her for a long time. As we’ve dated, moved in together, and got engaged I am confident that I can tell her anything and expect her to treat me the same kind and considerate way she always has! I also respect her a great deal for her work. She is smart, driven, and empathetic; all things I strive to be.
Question for the BRIDE: What things do you love the most about him? Charlie has always been the one person who will put me in a good mood no matter what! When we’re together we belly laugh constantly and feel so natural around each other. He’s also super compassionate and loving of all of the people in his life. He’s super close with his family and his friends and they have all become a part of my life as well. He made a HUGE move to Raleigh from Charlotte to be with me pretty early in our relationship. That was a really big deal to me, and to this day he finds little things to do for me that sweep me off my feet.
Here is a sneak peek of their lovely wedding…
