James proposed to me on Christmas of 2020. He got the whole family in on this story that every year on Christmas they take a walk in Jetton park, and this year would be no different, even though it was 23degrees outside. I was a little suspicious that morning because he had told me this would be the best Christmas ever, but his family had me convinced that everything was normal. He stopped at the water’s edge to take pictures with the family. Then, he asked them to take one of just the two of us, and he got down on one knee!
Question for the GROOM/PARTNER: What things do you love the most about her?
Sarah’s my best friend. She’s beautiful, smart, and funny. She always supports me and brings out the best version of myself. Sarah can do it all; from skiing in Utah, fine dining at a work event, wake surfing, to gardening. She’s the best around.
Question for the BRIDE/PARTNER: What things do you love the most about him?
The first thing that attracted me to James was his smile. He was a very laid-back kind of guy but also lived the excited life of a musician. The first time I went to one of his shows, I saw how creative and talented he was. It’s also a treat to watch James interact with kids. My nephews and his nieces look up to him. And lastly, James makes me laugh every day! He keeps things interesting and fun in our relationship.
