The thing I love the most about destination weddings is that they are intimate and you can really see and feel the closeness of the couples to their family and friends. Vivian and Matt had family and friends join them from around the world for their destination wedding in Tulum Mexico at the Dreams Tulum Resort (one of my all time favorite resorts – this was my third wedding there)
Here is a sneak peek of part I, stop back by for part II…
We take photos from the time we arrive of everything including the resort, the surrounding areas, the people, everything that tells the story of being there. If anyone cannot attend your event they will feel like they were there when looking through your wedding photos.
Vivian and Matt hired an outside but still local florist instead of using the resort florist. She did a phenomenal job.
Vivian’s dress was so perfect and Timeless and not to mention her fabulous shoes!!
I love the last image of Matt seeing Vivian for the first time in her dress – he was beaming!
The chapel at Dreams Tulum is so romantic and charming. It is just the right size for smaller weddings.
Vivian and Matt chose a sand ceremony in place of the unity candle which was very fitting for a destination wedding.
After the ceremony we took a few minutes to walk around the resort for romance photos. The next day we went on an excursion for more romance shots so check back to see those in part II.
The Mariachi Band was so fun and they played for the entire cocktail hour – which the guests loved!
