I adore photographing bridal portraits. It is a southern tradition and is becoming more popular around the world! Typically bridal portraits are taken before the wedding day and one of the portraits are displayed at the reception for guests to view as they walk in.
Bridal portraits are a great way for the bride to have a day truly to herself. A dress rehearsal that is more of a “it’s all about me day”. It also allows the bride to see how everything comes together – the dress, the shoes, the jewelry, hair accessories, makeup, veil and etc…
A bridal portrait shoot also helps your photographer learn which poses work best for you. You will be more relaxed on the wedding day after already having some time in front of the camera. It’s a great way to see how gorgeous you will look in your complete wedding attire.
You can choose any location you would like for your bridal shoot. That is the beauty of it. You can do something completely different then your wedding day by choosing a different style location. Say you are getting married at the Ritz but really love the outdoors, you could opt to do your bridal session in a beautiful garden.

Whether you want something fun, romantic, edgy or to bring out the fasionista in you — we can do it. We shoot the sessions so you have a huge variety in images. You will receive a mix of traditional and photojournalistic style images to choose from. The location is chosen to fit your style.
If you decide not to do a bridal session before your event, we will do bridal portrait style photos of you on the wedding day.
