How did Chris propose?
“Food is so important to our relationship. In fact, so much of our courtship was in the kitchen. At times Chris would be the chef and Fiorella the sous-chef and vice versa. Never had either one of us experienced such great compatibility with someone – in or out of the kitchen! We would come home from work or work travels, open a bottle of wine, turn on some tunes and get to know each other while cooking amazing meals together. It was only fitting that Chris would propose over a Tuesday night meal we cooked together. Though the idea of marriage had come up before, the proposal was a total surprise and was exactly as Fiorella had always dreamed: intimate and genuine.”
