Underwater Wedding Bridal Engagement Anniversary Photo Shoot + Dreams Tulum

I am so excited we are pre-registering clients for our famously fabulous under water sessions!! This September we will be in Mexico exclusively for our underwater sessions. This is a once in a lifetime chance to have some of the most amazingly awesome photos of yourselves.

The session can be for your After Session; romantic portraits taken of the bride and groom in their wedding attire. It’s becoming increasingly popular with newlyweds because it can take place up to a year after the event. Taking photos after the wedding allows the couple to feel more relaxed and act more natural, providing for some gorgeous shots. This is not your average After Session this is a kick ass under water after session. Yep, I said KA.
Some people also call this an Anniversary Session. Once again this would be the most kick ass anniversary session you could ever do!
The sessions are also open for an awesome engagement session, a bridal session (can you say “Girls trip!!”) How fun would that be as a bachelorette weekend!

If you are worried about wearing your wedding gown for the underwater session we have some back up options for you. We also have had many clients that purchased a second gown from Ebay just for the shoot.

This does not have to be wedding gown related. If you just want to wear a gorgeous gown for the session that works just as well. We will do a wardrobe consult for anyone that is doing the session for fun and not wedding related.

The price is $1200 and includes the session with beach or resort romance photos and our famously fabulous underwater shots, a wardrobe consultation for the best look, a full resolution disc of images from your session in a custom DVD case. And a sweet little surprise after you receive your images. From the disc you can print wall portraits, canvas prints, photos prints as gifts for parents and family members. Just imagine how much your Facebook Timeline photos will smoke everyone else’s!

We have two available dates we are working on and pre-booking will determine which weekend is the final choice. September 1st weekend (Labor Day)
or September 8th weekend. We will also include a few extra days to make it a long weekend so if you rather have your shoot on a Friday or a Monday that can work too.

We will have a limited number of bookings for this special occasion so get your spot before they are all taken! You may pre-register HERE.

We will be staying at the Dreams Tulum but you are welcome to book a location of your choice. The before images on the beach or resort will be taken at Dreams Tulum.

Rebecca + Kyle = Country Engagement Session

Rebecca and Kyle are so awesome! They are not only gorgeous but are the sweetest couple you could ever meet. They have a weimaraner named Spiller, after CJ Spiller that played for Clemson’s football team. He is the cutest dog! I love that he dressed up for the photo shoot and wore a bow tie – how stylish!
Rebecca and Kyle brought a couch for their session and some other cool details. One of the things I really loved was the blanket they brought to sit on – it was made by Rebecca’s grandmother out of her grandfathers ties.

Kelly + Adam = Whitehead Manor Wedding and Reception

Erin + Taylor = Charlotte Engagement Session

Erin and Taylor are getting married soon and I cannot wait for their wedding! I photographed Erin’s bridal session last week but of course I cannot share her STUNNING images until after May 19th. However, I can share their engagement photos that we recently took. The last few days were really awesome weather – sunny 80 degrees – perfect for an engagement session. Well, mother nature decided to be a little wicked and send some cooler weather and some clouds our way. Erin emailed and asked if we should reschedule and I said let’s shoot anyway we might be able to get some romantic rain shots. I was so excited when Erin was cool about it and said okay. Most girls run the other way when you mention rain. I knew Erin and Taylor were awesome when I first met them. The session started out with just a threat of roaring thunder and some nasty looking clouds. We wanted a contrast to their dressy outfits so we went to a nature trail. Once the rain started we hit a second location for some cover and then did our last few shots in the rain. All I can say is WOW! They rocked their session! Here is a sneak peek for you…

Mock Photo Shoot + Pine Island Country Club

I belong to a great group of all female photographers called The Photog Diva’s. We do Mock Photo Shoots every now and then just for fun. It is a great way for us to hang out and to experiment with different photography techniques. I have to admit I was such a slacker this time and I really did not try anything new. however, I do plan on a shoot coming in the next few months to do something really outside of my comfort zone. Stay tuned to see what I come up with.

We had around 20 girls shooting so we split into two groups and each had a set of models to photograph (a bride and groom). We planned on switching models halfway through but ran out of time so I only have a couple of shots of the other models before they had to leave.

A Singers Dream…

Every now and then in life you meet someone that is simply…AMAZING. I met Robin Brown just a few weeks ago and I was instantly drawn to her. She was singing her heart out and it was beautiful. Her and her girl friends were rallying to get donations for Robin to pay for a trip to NYC to enter a music competition – W.O.W (Wild Out Wednesday 106 and Park)
I gave my meager few dollars like all the other people around but then I came back because I wanted to do more. A few days later we got together to create some promo photos for her Facebook page – Mz. RB (be sure to become a fan! You will want to follow this girl – she is going to be famous) If you have a few extra dollars and you want to help Robin – send her a message on Facebook.
Brian Bunn of Brian Bunn Films jumped in to help Robin out by creating a short music video for her. Sunny Hutchinson of Themba Imagery also came to help and took some really cool behind the scenes shots for Robin. You can see more on Sunny’s blog.

I want to give a special thanks to The Harvey B. Gantt Center for providing a super cool location for our shoot. Thanks to everyone that is supporting Robin in helping her dreams come true!!
